This error occurs when using Zviewer or any other Remote Viewer/DVR app,and attempting to view the cameras through port 7050. It the SKU end in SAN4,SAN8,SBN4,SNB8 and SBN6 this guide should work for you. To know what series you have look look for the SKU# which should be located in the underside of the DVR. This fix should work for all the SAN/SBN series. I know that I've followed the manual exactly,no easy task mind you,and I'm still getting the errors . Both on my Android device and also my Iphone/Ipad. I start getting the "Beyond the max channel" or " not support the channel number" error with every Remote Viewer/DVR app I try. I finally have all my ports forwarded correctly,my DynDns account setup and all my passwords correctly setup. After 12 hours plus of of trying to setup a Zmodo H.264 standalone DVR 8ch,Model ZMD-DD-SAN8.
